Leaf Canopy

This was my final project for my Digital Fabrication class at Wesleyan University, taught by Andrew Ruff. This was a joint-project with Natalie Strassheim. It is a leaf-shaped canopy over a bench next to the Digital Design Studio. Conceptually, it is a juxtaposition of arcs/forms derived from circles, and the natural flow of the tree. The leaf shape and curvature are also meant to complement the tree's form. It was modeled in Rhino 3D and AutoCAD. 2015.
